hi there!
I have a strange issue here, with my parents comp:
they used xmms all the time to play sounds. so far so good since i discovered amarok and had no big issue to make it run at my own comp (amarok-1.2.1).
So i decided to let them have amarok too. first starting with version 1.2.1, then 1.2 and at last with 1.0.2.
but when i try to start it (amarok and amarokapp) it crashes. The only error-message i get is about not running valgrind, etc. which in fact they do not run at all. I tried looking here and in the amarok-forum but it has nothing to do with the "flac-problems" discussed.
Worse enough but now xmms won't start either
It just tries to start xmms and *nothing* happens, no error message, nothing.
Right now i'm running out of ideas and would really appreciate YOUR help, dear folks. _________________ "Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous."
