Hi,
Unfortunately enough, my laptop's video card broke a few days ago, and I don't want to replace it (500...).
So I'm X logging on it through an old box, and it works fine, except for a few things:
- I cannot play sound as a normal user (only root can)
- I cannot run opengl appz (specially TCE!!!!) anymore, even as root.
Does anyone of you have a solution?
Thx

H4rck,
Is your normal user in the audio group?
Run the command.
OpenGL depends on your video card hardware. It cannot draw the screen for a remote X session, so you will not get any acceleration or OpenGL. _________________ Regards,
