Hi all,
i'm installing gentoo from stage3. All right, but it doesn't mount /etc/fstab at startup.
I control /etc/inittab
# System initialization, mount local filesystems, etc.
si::sysinit:/sbin/rc sysinit
but sysinit is missing (i think it would be in /etc/init.d).
Someone can help me?
Thank you |

I don't think there is a sysinit binary - it's just an argument passed to /sbin/rc. What do you mean /etc/fstab isn't mounted? What errors do you get? _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |
