|
|
I'm having major issues here.
After "emerge gnome" which took hours, I tried to start x and get an error like this:
Fatal server error:
cannot run in framebuffer mode
please specify busIDs for all framebuffer devices
I'm using a radeon 9800 pro, so I'm assuming that uses framebuffer support. How do I go about fixing this problem?
Thanks. |

make sure you have framebuffer support compiled into your kernel |
