I have gentoo 2.6.10-r6 kernel, and the usb does not work
lsusb shows 4 usbs (what are they called) but all are empty

Nothing (keyboard, mouse, cdrom, hdd) works

I compiled all the usb options in (not modules)
I used genkernel --menuconfig

All usb deviced are plugged in using a PCMCIA card

Everything works under 2.6.9, but I want to upgrade (shutdown causes problems in 2.6.9, not 2.6.10)...

Anybody know what´s wrong?

I have also had problems with USB under that version of the kernel, at least 2.6.10-gentoo-r6. Once I switched back to 2.6.10-gentoo-r4 the HDs, and DVDwriter worked again.
