I've been using vmware on this gentoo box for a while...always worked really good. I hadn't looked at it for a while so today I cracked it open to do some testing.
The same virtual machine that I made months ago and always worked fine for me...just stopped working. I can hit the "Start this virutal machine" button and nothing happens at all...it just doesn't work. The vmware log shows absolutely nothing...as if it's working fine.
What the hell do I do w/ this? I had things setup perfectly on that virtual machine, I can't just trash it and start over...don't have time for that.

have u tried running vmware from a shell? if so, any error messages?
what is the host/guest os? |
