|
|
I frequently I get an "Unknown symbol" error whenever I try to insmod modules in /lib/modules/...
For example:
root@enlaptop2:/lib/modules/2.6.11-rc2-mm2/kernel/drivers $ insmod ./usb/serial/visor.ko
insmod: error inserting './usb/serial/visor.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module
What does that error mean?
Thanks for any help,
Ian |

Also, after I do successfully load a module with modprobe, why doesn't it show up when I do an lsmod? |
