This is an odd problem I never got before, but when I installed Gnome 2.10 it just kind of appeared.
Here's an example of the problem: http://et.ath.cx/gnome.png
On the task bar on the bottom on the rightmost window you can see those 3 boxes that are usually like the undisplayable character boxes and such. I have no clue why they're there. They only seem to appear when there are more then two windows open and the title of the window is really long (as in like there would be a ... at the end (and now that I think about it, those boxes might be like some unicode '.' that doesn't work right)).
Anyways, I'm just curious if there's a fix for it, because it's just like.. annoying :\
Thanks,

It seems to be an issue with UTF8 encoding, it's your system UTF8 ready ? If not try to follow the Howto on the Gentoo Website. _________________ Google, really. |

Ok, I solved the problem. Apparently it was the font I was using.
I was using dingbats because it had a cool name and it looked nice, but apparently the ellipsis (sp?) didn't display properly. After changing the font, everything looks fine.
Thanks for the help
