|
|
I recently installed apache, and would like to serve a few files just for my wife and I if we are ever out-of-town. The server works fine, however I am a little confused about how to add authentication to apache.
Upon entering my domain name, i would like a popup authentication box to appear asking for username and pass. I tried to look at the apache docs for version 2.2, but the module "mod_auth_basic" wasnt available through emerge.
Can anyone tell me the way to accomplish this? |

You should look into this tutorial
And if you're not sure what modules are installed, just check phpinfo() (if php is installed) ... _________________ Ep2.nl | Developers Community |
