I got my installation working just fine, except that /etc/init.d/net.eth0 fails to start fails to start. And the generic error message shown at boot time just vaguely mentions netmount.
How can I find out what exactly is wrong?
If this is likely one thing in particular, how do I fix it?
I have a router, so networking is setup for dhcp.
Thanks in advance! |

what happens if you try: dhcpcd eth0
what does your /etc/conf.d/net look like?
are you using the proper driver for you kernl, are they compiled as modules, did you insert the module?
we need a bit more to go on. |

Silly me...
I had to add coldplug with rc-update. My bad.
I guess my ethernet card was not being... detected/recognised/activated before. |
