|
|
I have six ide ports in total:
2 on an ATA/Raid controller
2 on another ATA/Raid controller
2 on the motherboard's ata controller.
Gentoo only recongnizes the hard disks on the ATA controller where Gentoo is installed.
The those controllers and thier block devices showed up in the livecd.
I compliled the Kernel with genkernel.
What can I do to force the drives to be recongnized?
Any suggestions. Thanks. |

You could compile in the drivers for the other controllers as well, for one. _________________ Military Commissions Act of 2006: http://tinyurl.com/jrcto
