Ciao ragazzi :)

Sto lavorando ad una versione "modificata" di gentoo, e penso di essere arrivato quasi alla fine. Ora, vorrei che quanto ho installato ora (la mia rootdir) diventasse squashfs.
Esiste un modo semplice, qualcuno di voi lo ha gia' fatto? Su internet ci sono delle guide per creare dei livecd, pero' mi domandavo se qualcuno di voi non avesse qualche procedura piu' semplice che possa fare al caso mio :)

IMHO la procedura più semplice dovrebbe essere proprio quella che indicano per i LiveCD...

Curiosità: se non ti serve per un LiveCD o simili (chiavetta USB, memory Card...) per cosa la useresti?

per i modem/router. sono tutti linux + squashfs :-D

un po OT: ma squashfs è veloce come filesystem? Si potrebbe usarlo per velocizzare una gentoo in sola lettura?
