Instead of rounded edges for window decords that have that, I get little black bits where it would be transparent normaly.

Same for when I drag an icon, the spot that would be transparent (around the icon, where it should be white, or whatever ur desktop color is).. turns an ugly black while dragged... Tho there transparent while static.

What could cause this?

Runing KDE3.4
Gentoo 2005
AMD64
Geforce 6600GT

Has it worked in previous versions of KDE?
No offence, but getting a beta is going to lead to issues..

Pfft. KDE 3.4 isn't beta in a bout 45mins in my timezone.. The code won't magicly change and fix this that quick

....i have a pretty advance install, i know how to change theme's and there options.
Like i said before, i ran kcontrol, tried many themes, turned window edge rounded on/off, with no change. Even emerge'd kde-kwin-themes to try some more.

Yea it worked before, but that was a whole differente system.

I think a big difference is im runing an nvidia card now, and used to use an ati. So any options in xorg.conf i could try??

Well, im not too sure, I dont have any experience with nVidia, but Ive had no issues with my ATI.
I cant really think about a good option in Xorg, although try maybe going to an older version, just in case.

You're missing the SHAPE extension, provided by the extmod module. You need modify xorg.conf.
