|
|
hi,
i am installing gentoo and i am fairly new to the linux community. i have used redhat 9, but it has been a while.
anyways, i am just past the point in the installation manual where you do the chroot stuff and now nano doesnt seem to work. when i type"
nano -w /etc/make.conf
i get "Illegal instruction"
i tried using vi as well and it doesnt work either. this is my second time through. (i restarted after this point once prior) and the same thing has happened both times.
thanks for any help |
