Samba PDC + windows xp + windows 2000

We have a server running samba 3.010. we have 10 windows clients all running either windows 2000 or windows xp. We would like the server to become a PDC. i have searched the forums and cannot find an answer whether or not samba can auth windows xp and or 2000 clients. Is this possible??? and has anyone got a guide smb.conf i can see.

i did but that guide only covers win 2000
