I've been looking through the forums for help on installing my wireless network card, but have not had any luck yet. Here is what i am using (info obtained via KDE's PCI manager):
Network Controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM43xG 802.11b/g (rev02)
Subsystem: Microsoft Corporation Wireless PCI Adapter MN-730
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 32, IRQ 5
I used genkernel to compile my kernel. I did my installation through a hardwire connection and am currently connected to a hardwire connection.
Please keep in mind that I am really new to gentoo, so I might need detailed help. Thanks! _________________ Peace. Love. Gentoo. |

Try using NDiswrapper, which acts as wrapper around Windows drivers for your wireless device. Howto can be found here. _________________ "One of the major problems encountered in time travel is not that of accidentally becoming your own father or mother ...
