Ik ben een mailserver aan het updaten die al een tijdje updates nodig had. Nu faalt de emerge van world in mailbase:
| Code: | emerge (15 of 43) net-mail/mailbase-0.00-r8 to /
* Checking for possible file collisions...
* //etc/pam.d/pop3 exists and wasn't provided by mailbase
* //etc/pam.d/imap exists and wasn't provided by mailbase
* Those files listed above have to be removed in order to
* install this version of mailbase.
* If you edited them, remember to backup and when restoring make
* sure the first line in each file is:
* # Provided by mailbase (dont remove this line!) |
Mag ik die files dan zomaar verwijderen? Ik heb de QMail mailserver howto gevolgd maar ik vrees dat hierdoor mijn bestaande configuratie in de problemen zal komen...

gewoon wegschrijven naar een tijdelijk mapje. Emergen, en dan terugkoppieren, of beter, de relevante (de door jouw veranderde) regels copy pasten vanuit de "backup" naar de "echte" config.
