Anyone know if Airport extreme will ever be supported in PPC linux land, and also what is the current status on the ibook 9200 vid card and the nvidia 5200 12" powerbook video card and the 9700 vid cards in the 15" and 17" powerbooks? Can they sleep and can they do dri?
its been awhile since iv looked into it, almost 1 and half, and I dont think much has changed.. Sadly |

DRI works on my ibook with 9200. There are sleep patches for powerbooks and ibooks.
There is a project that is reverse engineering the broadcom drivers. I spoke a little to one of the devs, and he said that they hopefully have made a working driver within 2005. |

Linux on PPC is getting better and better (even Linus already has his own PowerMac - running Linux of course... )
