|
|
There's nothing easier than doing a simple "su -" in bash... but I wanna do it in a file manager... like Endeavour2, Gentoo (the file manager), or even Konqueror. Is there a file manager that lets me switch to the root in order to perform stuff, and then head back to my own main username?
Thanks! |

yea, but that requires that I be logged in as 'root' already. If I'm under my username 'googa', how can I run this?
I've tried using sudo, but it still requires a seperate password prompt, so it's not like I can run it through the Fluxbox menu.
Any suggestions? |

Not if you specify NOPASSWD in the sudoers file _________________ Unanswered Post Initiative | Search | FAQ
