Gentoo and EVMS: gotta stick evms_activate manual in chkfs

last time i reinstalled my root partition, it would not "pivot root" correctly from my initrd to my /dev/evms/root until i stuck evms_activate in one of my rc scripts, i believe it was checkfs.

isuspected it had something to do with my device mapper not initializing correctly, but not knowing how to read bash scripts too well, im not sure. so i built device mapping into my kernel this time around, and im hoping i dont have the same problem, b/c i cant remember where, or exactly in which script, i needed to edit to get it working.

i was hoping someone with gentoo + evms experience could help me out.
