I have a line in /etc/fstab for mounting shared folder:
Code:
//urka/STORAGE   /mnt/net/urka/storage     smbfs   rw,iocharset=utf8,codepage=cp866,username=spijon,password=      0 0

Well, i have lot of such mounts for different computers. And if computer is turned off I have to wait a minute till samba breaks with timeout. So question is where can I set that timeout to 5 seconds?

Erm... add "timeout=x" to the mount options ?
In seconds, presumably.
