Hi,

I was following the howto: http://linuxfromscratch.org/~devine/erfs-howto.html
There it tells me to patch
Code:
loop-AES-v2.2b/util-linux-2.12c.diff
The Problem is that I can't find
Code:
util-linux-*.diff
anywhere.
Shouldn't it be in /usr/portage/sys-fs/loop-aes/ ?

Thanks,

Chris

You should better try the new unstable baselayout which supports filesystem encyption out of the box. See this HOWTO.

I'd still like to know why util-linux-2.12c.diff is missing.

Thanks,

Chris

If the crypt USE flag is set, it will be downloaded during the emerge of sys-apps/util-linux.

I've to correct myself, the file is still missing allthough the crypt flag was and is set.

I was mistaken because I copied the file from somewhere else.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

emerge will store the patch in /usr/portage/distfiles
