|
|
So this is a fresh gentoo installation...it feels good . I have a minor annoyance though...
During the livecd setup, everything was at the right resolution on my monitor 1024x768 it seemed. But now, the text is enormous! Is there anyway to make the font size smaller or resolution larger on the basic terminal? Keep in mind X isn't even installed on my system yet...
I'm not sure if I need to edit bash or what...also I hope I posted this in the right forum. Any ideas? |

Try to configure your kernel with Code: |
Device Drivers > Graphics support->
[*] Support for frame buffer devices
<*> VESA VGA graphics support
VESA driver type (vesafb-tng) --->
[*] Video mode selection support
<*> Framebuffer Console support
| with default resolution you need.
Also you may add kernel parameters in grub.conf/lilo.conf video=1024x768@85 |
