I'm experiencing very slow load times of svg wallpaper in kde 3.4. Is this normal?

Depends on what you call slow.  Improvements are in cvs.

well, that's REAL slow, altough your pc might be very low spec... on my athlon 2000+ a few secs at most. |

Yeah I have to say that is a little bizarre. My 2.4Ghz p4 does it within a second. I didnt even realize it was svg (moon) until I looked at the filename.

It's the "Gear Flowers" that are the slowest. System is 2.53 P4 desktop is 1600x1200.

I have 2.4GHz P4, and Moon renders at 1280x960 in a bit less than one second. Gear Flowers, on the other hands, takes 20.
