Is there an easy way to find CPU temperature?

I have an Epox 8KTA2 motherboard with an Athlon 1G processor and Gentoo 1.3. Is there an easy way to find the CPU temperature?

Maybe lm_sensors will do the job. I think you have to compile some options in the kernel to make it work. See also their website.
