I've tried passing parameters through grub - even setting them in the kernel using vesafb-tng.
My kernel is currently set up using vesafb-tng, how do I change the console video mode? I've tried some of the examples in the handbook to no effect...
I have a 19" monitor and would really like to shrink that text size |

what did you put in grub.conf?
for me like
video=1280x1024@85
(change it to what you want)
and works perfect _________________ "Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent" - Marilyn vos Savant

Got it.
Another kernel parameter needing to be added. The one that allows changes in console font... |
