|
|
i'm planning on switching to a dvorak keyboard as it seems much better than qwerty
before that, i want to test the layout to know if it's difference or if i should stick to qwerty
is there any easy way to temprorarily enable dvorak?
SOLUTION:
Code: | setxkbmap dvorak se |

don't think you should use:
Code: | setxkbmap dvorak se |
The se will make you use the swedish version (Svorak).
Xorg comes with dvorak versions for:
Norway (no)
Sweden (se,sv)
UK (gb)
France (fr)
If neither of those fits you'll have to invent your own localization of Dvorak or stick with the original one. |

as you might not know i actually am swedish
only living in belgium temporarily
anyway, i'll be trying to learn the "svorak" layout and see if i'll buy a real keyboard with it
and, i couldn't use the command mentioned because it din't give me the right layout
i had to download another layout so this my actual command:
Code: | setxkbmap svorak svorak |
P.S. har du lyckats få svorak att funka i vim? |
