|
Was fiddling around in root today and accidentally did a mv /* .... not smart so i booted livecd and moved the directories back. Now when i do su doesn't work properly.
Code: |
peet@signalrunner peet $ su -
Password:
su: Authentication failure
Sorry.
peet@signalrunner peet $
|
I can still login as root through the virtual terminals at post-boot but I can't switch between users.
I have already tried remerging coreutils and pam and whatever else i could think of that could fix su. Any ideas? |
