|
|
I just emerged inkscape 0.41 which this time required also boehm-gc to compile. boehm-gc had to be put in package.keywords. The compile went all ok.
But when I launch inkscape I get this message:
Code: | One or more extensions failed to load
The failed extensions have been skipped. Inkscape will continue to run normally but those extensions will be unavailable. For details to troubleshoot this problem, please refer to the error log located at: /home/babo/.inkscape/extension-errors.log |
and /home/babo/.inkscape/extension-errors.log says:
Code: | Extension "Dia Input" failed to load because a dependency was not met.
Dependency::
type: executable
location: path
string: dia
description: In order to import Dia files, Dia itself must be installed. You can get Dia at http://somesit$
Extension "Postscript Input" failed to load because a dependency was not met.
Dependency::
type: executable
location: path
string: pstoedit
Extension "AI Output" failed to load because a dependency was not met.
Dependency::
type: executable
location: path
string: pstoedit
Extension "EPS Input" failed to load because a dependency was not met.
Dependency::
type: extension
location: path
string: org.inkscape.input.ps
Extension "Windows Metafile Input" failed to load because a dependency was not met.
Dependency::
type: executable

string: wmf2svg

Does anyone has any ideas what could this be? AI and EPS import is one of the major factors in inkscape for me, so I'd like to have this sorted eventualy.
thanks in advance |

Yes, this seems to be a non-AMD64 problem.
Using USE="plugin" DOES FIX this, but this installs a bunch of stuff. The USE-flags' direct dependencies are, as the .ebuild states:
Code: | >=media-gfx/pstoedit-3.33
>=media-gfx/skencil-0.6.16
media-libs/libwmf
app-office/dia |

Mine still crashes, even after adding the USE="plugin" flag:
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x0000000000971660 ***
Emergency save activated!
Emergency save completed. Inkscape will close now.
If you can reproduce this crash, please file a bug at www.inkscape.org
with a detailed description of the steps leading to the crash, so we can fix it.
The extension log is empty now though.
