wine cvs stucks compiling at make depend

i tried to compile the actuall wine (20050310) version .
download per CVS was alright , also the cvs update was ok.
but after ./configure , i try make depend and then the following appears :

../include/wine/port.h:342: error: conflicting types for `strerror'

means so far i understand : bin2res.c cannot be compiled for the precess_ressources error ... ?

tried also to take out the bin2res from Make.rules file, but even after new ./configure that doesnt work...

i know i coult have download via emerge , but i want the cvs version instead.

pls give me a hint ... i thought wine is actualy the most used windows emulator so why is no one having problems like me ?

i dont understand exacly what i have to do :

put all text parts in seperate files as described and the emerge or what ? sorry i am not so far with the ebuild stuff. thx in advance

für die lange abstinenz..

habe mir leider mein board zerballert muss also erstmal neu installen (was sich schonwieder hinzieht) bevor ich mich zum thema wine wieder auessern kann, aber danke fuer den tipp ...

andere frage ... : kann man auf einem P3 eigendlich auch die x86 stage3 installieren oder MUSS es die pentium3-stage3 sein?

Hi steveb,

I see you wrote an ebuild for CVS wine. I wish to ask couple of thigs:
1) I do not see any amd64 in KEYWORDS= I have amd64. Will it run on amd64 and if so it the ebuild ready as it is or it needs changes?
2) As all notes are written in german will this ebuild install always the latest CVS wine? And HowTo update let's say every three days my CVS wine to latest version available? I ask this because there is a howto on wine web page on how to install and how to update CVS wine.
3) If your wiki ebuild work fine what about posting it in the English wiki gentoo website?
