Hello,

I've looked at several other threads and come so far that I am quite sure I have all important modules compiled and loaded. The local settings in programs like kdetv or tvtime are set to PAL und Western Europe (Germany) for me. However, I get no channel, neither with automatic nor manual search.
The settings below in modules.autoload.d are set according to the automatic detection by the bttv module when first loaded without options.
Now I've run out of ideas where my problem could be. Here are several infos form lspci, autoloaded modules, lsmod and dmesg. It would be great if anyone here could give me some clues.

lspci output
Code:

0000:00:0d.0 Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Video Capture (rev 11)
0000:00:0d.1 Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Audio Capture (rev 11)

/etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6
Code:

snd-bt87x
bttv card=34 tuner=5 radio=1
tuner

lsmod output (partly)

Ok, I finally got it working. The automatic detection told me to user tuner 5, since I've read often that owners of that card were using other tuners, I just tried every Philips tuner found in the documentation, for me it was tuner 41.
