Hello everybody,
I've recently installed the newest nvidia driver and now if I start my wm (flubox) it doesn't display any text in its taskbar or in his menus (with graphics card driver nv everything is alright).
Here's a screenshot.

thats really strange, everything looks ok, you should take a look on your logs to see if there are any font related issues, and btw, latest fluxbox is 0.9.12 
PS: try emerging again nvidia-kernel the latest and then fluxbox the latest too

| I thought everything was alright, but now if I use the nvidia driver, my X freezes (everything except for the mouse) after some time. Again it only happens if I use the nvidia driver, with nv everythin works fine. |

you are using nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx the lateste versions right ?

and you have your xorg.conf properly set ?
try looking for errors on your logs, maybe you will find something
