Cups crashes very often (not always!) after a
lpr -P Epson740 t.txt
so the whole computer crashes. after that, i have to rebuild cups, if i dont linux freezes @ boot after launching cupsd.
cups 1.1.18
gs 7.05.5
should i downgrade versions ? any experiences with that? |

I have exactly the same problem. fortunately I've not yet added cupsd to a runlevel
(Just if you don't know: U can get rid of it with rc-update del cupsd default)
How can it be that a daemon like cups can freeze the whole machine? I thought this is linux, not windoze... |
