I've got a problem with my mysql-server. A few weeks ago I updated all packages on my system. By some stupid reason I also have overwritten my configuration files. Everything else works fine over now... except the mysql-server. Every time I try to log in I get the message : Error 1045: Acces denied for user: 'root@localhost'
The problem is that I did't changed the password. I also tried to replace the original database with "mysql_install_db" but still then I need to login with that password. Who can help me with this problem? |

Hi.... I fixed the problem over now because I found the lost password.. Still don't understand why re-installing the tables didn't work
