I'm trying to get a Linksys WUSB12 USB Wireless adapter running on my system. I've got the thing plugged in, and the system doesn't seem to be finding it. In fact, it doesn't seem to be finding anything. I've looked through the forums, and I've tried a few related suggestions, but haven't seemed to make headway.
I'm currently running the 2.6.10-r6 gentoo-dev-kernel.
Here's what I've done so far.
1) emerge linux-wlan-ng (unmasked, so I could get the one that worked with the 2.6 kernel)
2) added p80211 and prism2_usb to /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 (both of these load with no errors)
When I do a "ifconfig -a", I only see my ethernet card (and the loopback). An "lsusb" doesn't find any devices at all.
Any ideas? _________________ [img:9c4de54ad3]http://feeds.feedburner.com/NoGraspOfYourReality.gif[/img:9c4de54ad3] |
