Hi all,

I'm running a 2.6.11-ck2 kernel on a Pentium 4 and my CFLAGS aren't overly crazy:

Code:

CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer"

In any event, I tried to create a backup of my root partition which I would have moved onto a DVD. However, everything seemed to be going fine except that, after I answered all the questions and pressed F5 to move along, the program exited with a segfault. Any clue as to why this might be or how to fix it? If there's an easy to use alternative, I'd be happy with that as well.

Mask sys-block/partimage-0.6.4-r4 and install r3 compiled with the static use flag. This resolved the issue for me (so far). jeff
