|
|
I find that pyPanel doesn't always refresh on it's own. Like if something doesn't change in the taskbar, it doesn't always refresh. That means that my clock will sometime freeze for like 20 minutes and then suddenly it will jump way ahead. This also causes my Thunderbird Tray icon to not show up right away when I get e-mail.
Short of switching panels, does anyone know what's wrong or how to fix it? |

Me too! I know that's no help but at least you're not alone. |

Is that only in versions > 1.3? I see on pypanel's website that version 2.2 is out. 1.3 is the stable version in portage. Version 2.0 is there but not stable. |

I can't remember if it was in 1.3 version... now I'm using 2.2, but you could upgrade it using ~x86 ebuild |

Actually no you can't. Only version 2.0 is in portage and it's broken. |

I got the newest version of pyPanel and set that variable, but it seems like it only affects the clock and NOT the system tray. Does anyone know for sure? |
