Ok, I just blew away all my partitions on my laptop, now I have two HUGE questions...
1. When in mac-fdisk I have the option of creating a linux partition. I press c 'Lowercase" it asks me.. First Block:
I type in 100 for the boot partition, then it comes back with Length ( in blocks, kb (k), MB (M) or GB (G)):
I press M, and also attempt MB, and it comes back with bad length. Why is that?
2. How do I make this laptop a dual boot machine? Do I have to press option every time I want to get into the OS X partition now? |

The response to length should be a number in blocks, or a size - 64M or 5G or what ever.
For dual boot I use yaboot. It give a menu at boot with a default option.
Are you following the ppc instalation handbook, this covers both of these, although the fdisk instructions are not the clearest.
