Having some trouble with Konqueror and KBear...
Firefox is working fine, as is ping.
Anytime I enter a web address into KBear or Konqueror, they come back with "Unknown Host ......."
I've tried obvious ones like Google.com and such, still cant resolve them. My resolv.conf file looks fine, like I said, Firefox and ping both work....
Any Ideas?
I'm running AMD64 KDE 3.4 |

I've been having the same problem for a couple of weeks now. I thought it was my crappy isp but after talking to them again today it seems that they are experiencing no problems... I've installed dnstracer and it seemed to have been able to resolve www.google.ca no problem. I am using firefox (lastest and greatest binary), and Net-DNS (v 0.40). After many attempts and then finally enetering in just the ip address of this page is was able to come here and try to get help...
Any info needed, just ask.
no ideas at the moment, still reading. _________________ It's all about finger strength, baby.
