Well, here's the latest release. Fully tested and includes staircase11.1 aswell as linux 2.6.11.8 and a scsi hangfix stoolen from -ck.

You rock, it's nice to be left in the dark.
By the way, I know this is unsupported, but I was recently able to cleanly patch with vesa-tng and fbsplash (With a couple of modifications). Would you like me to send this patch, maybe you could use it as an addon for the eyecandy crowd. You could call it dark-candy. If not, oh well, I can enjoy the candy all by myself.

Your welcome to release this yourself or even create a branch off dark. I don't have any plans to include vesa-tng or fbsplash in dark or create a different branch anytime soon. It's also great to know my work is respected  .
Edit: Name ideas if you want to branch, darkeye and blackcandy.
