Why is that happening? That wasn't like that before. Any idea?
The Portage is unpacked is definitely there.

I wouldn't worry about it if your not doing a highly hacked install (read as: different from the install handbook)
PORTDIR_OVERLAY specifies a directory that gets applied over the normal portage tree. that way you can install ebuilds that haven't yet made it in to the mainstream portage tree without destroying the normal portage tree. _________________ Programming is the process of putting bugs in.
