2005.0 LiveCD and gentoo-em64t kernel option

When using either the minimal or the universal 2005.0 LiveCD I am typing in the optional gentoo-em64t kernel from the amd64 LiveCD but it says that it cannot be found. I looked in the contents of the .iso and it is there on both the minimal and universal.

Tried using the amd64 kernel but it states that the processor does not support long mode, use a 32-bit distro.

Server:
HP Proliant DL360 G3
1x Xeon 2.8ghz

Does your Intel Xeon support athlon64 64-bit instructions?

Not really sure how to tell if the processor does support 64-bit.
