gdm doesn't allow logins

I have reinstalled my system and now I can't login in the gdm prompt. I get an "Authentification failed" just after I enter the username. It doesn't even allow me to the enter the password.
I also tried with 'gdm autologin' , but it doesn't do that.
I'm sure that the gdm.conf is ok , as it's the one I have used in my previous install.

It seems that gdm requier pam install and I did a "-pam" system install. I got my sollution here
