Is there a how-to anywhere for configuring a BIND nameserver? Just looking for something to aide in setting up a nameserver for a few domains
I'm supirsed http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/DNS-HOWTO.html is the only help on this site. _________________ http://www.tankprofiler.com |

Is there something wrong with that howto ?
It tells you specifically how to set up a simple domain.
You could always try to read the BOG[1]
[1] Bind Operations Guide, available from the official ISC site. _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /

I've got a very simple caching DNS guide on my personal website, so that's probably not anything you're looking for.
THere's a book from O'Reilly press that deals with BIND and DNS that is very good. _________________ It's fun to take a trip
