Try:
... when booting the install cd. It worked for me when I got the "swapon: /dev/sda2: Device or resource busy"-error.

That works. I can now mount the drive that I couldn't before with mkswap and the latter steps as well. Thanks. |

I was doing the Install using a 2004.3 Live CD and all worked fine!!! It deteted and mounted the drives well. I switched to the new Live CD 2005 and all is messed up ....It reports all the drives as busy, However I see them through fdisk and stuff... any clue? |

Patch,
Thanks so much for this tip.
I just blew an hour or two getting the "already mounted" messages and couldn't untar a stage tarball.
Finally checked the forums and saw your suggestion.
I don't know how you figured this out, but I am very glad you shared your experience.
Once I get the install done, I think I'll d/l and print out a complete list of install disc boot options for future reference.
