the Gentoo that doesn't install

i think i am actually onto something now. i have got all the network card part working but im just so tired right now that i cant go any further lol. ill try more later and keep u guys updated o and which is better grub or lilo and whats the dif and what do u recommend?

If you have a typo in the config file you can edit options at runtime
also you don't have to run /bin/lilo everytime you want to change kernels.

forget gentoo i just gave up. ill start with something like redhat. something where i dont have to put up with so much crap. i want to be able to see things not just read text to do an installation. i find it to be a pain in the ass. :*(

lol dont worry im not gonna leave u guys tho. im sure ill be trying it again in a week lmao cuz i still like it and this forum is great. much better than all the other ones becuz they give too much crap.
