I have two printers on 2.6.11-hardened-r15 gentoo server. Both of them work fine, windows clients print via samba shares. The problem is, that if someone turns off the printer, it won't print. I have these messages both in logs and in CUPS' web interface:
Code:

Unable to open USB device "usb://HP/LaserJet%201300": No such device

Then I have to manually turn the device on by clicking on "Start Printer" in CUPS' web interface.

Is there any way to do this automatically, so that when the printers gets turned on, CUPS will start it?
