I've never had a problem with compiling a new kernel befoer so i'd like to think i did it all right.
But anyway i'v tried re emerging the source a few times but it don't seem to help.. I'm kinda @ a loss.
Code: |
/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-gentoo-r3/scripts/gen_initramfs_list.sh: Cannot open 'n'
make[1]: *** [usr/initramfs_list] Error 1
make: *** [usr] Error 2

let me guess, you used "make oldconfig" on a .config from a previous kernel. this is quite dangerous for this reason.
you answered "n" to an option which wanted a path to a filename. _________________ http://dev.gentoo.org/~dsd |
