Hallo zusammen
Zeit längerem bastel ich an einem ISDN-Router auf dem ein debian läuft. Leider stink das paket management, der installiert für meinen geschmack zu viele unnötige pakete. Deshalb möchte ich auf gentoo umsteigen.
Von den aufgaben her sollte er folgendes beherrschen:
1. ISDN an alle clients (1x linux [gentoo], 4x wind00f [win98,xp])
2. ne squid cache for www trafic
3. ne firewall
4. nen squidguard zum blocken von lästigen ports (wind00f)
5. ein mailserver zum lokalen verteilen von mails, wenn es geht beim einwählen mal die mails von externen servern fetchen
6. ein sambaserver
[7.] ein printserver ( wird mit nem lexmark 1000 drucker wohl schlecht gehen)
Da hab ich mir mal wieder was vor genommen  , ich wäre für alle möglichen tips dankbar
die ganze sache soll auf nem alten siemens-nixdorf !!!! PCD-5 Rechner laufen (war wohl mal ne kasse)

Ich habe hisax unter gentoo nicht zum laufen gebracht. Wenn du eine isdn-karte von avm hast, gibts hier ein howto für die capi-lösung

3. und 4. kannst du imho mit iptables bewerkstelligen.

wenn ich mit den iptables rumfummel müsste ich wissen welche ports ich blocken soll.
Kennt jemand die ports die wind00f zum schnüffeln etc. verwendet

ganz einfach: alles verbieten und nur das zulassen was du brauchst.
Das ist immer die sicherste Lösung.
Ansonsten fällt mir da spontan nur 135-138/udp ein.
An sich musst ja nur verhindern das deine windows rechner nicht raus kommen auf diesen ports. In die andere Richtung sind sie ja nicht "sichtbar" (haben keine ip im inet) |

hallo
kennt jemand eine software oder wie kann ich dem ipppd den sagen das er mit verschiedenen isps zu versch. zeiten online gehen soll. Da prog das vom fli4l verwndet wird kann ich irgendwie nicht finden
