Ummm... I had the same problem and had to specify the ip of the keyserve for ages on the command line.
I fixed it by downloading a new version of the client, dunno what was wrong :|
You might want to try that :) |

|
|
I tried djbdns for my dns cache and distributed.net couldnt resolve keyservers. Tried distributed.net with bind and it could resolve them fine.
Seems like dnet needs either libs or programs that come with bind and that djbdns does differently.
I might send an email to the dnet team about this. |

A work around is to give the option select keyserver autmaticly the value no
Then a new question is there to add your keyservername
Give in it's ip adres and things are working |

It can not resolv the ip adres of the keyserver (i know very strange )
Give a dnetc -config
go to option 2 then choose option 6
Set option 2 to No (Automaticly select a Keyserver )
Then in option 3 give the ipadres of a keyserver 130.161.38.67
The it all works great
Good Luck |

You could also just emerge bind-tools. Works for me. _________________ "I'm tolerating you." |

Thanks for heads up about bind
emerge -u bind-tools solved the problem so nicely.
